Description
The Tibetan crystal market was the most dangerous place on that trip — not because of anything frightening, but because we couldn't stop.
Every stone had a mountain it came from. Every stone carried something specific. The monks had told us — these are not decorations, they are intentions. So we started picking them up one by one, holding each one, asking questions.
Critika and I kept looking at each other. Every time we tried to stop we found another one that felt like it already belonged to us.
Ten stones made it out. The ones we couldn't put down. This necklace is the most personal thing we have made — the story of two people who went to the mountains to escape and came back as collectors. Of places. Of moments. Of meaning.
