STILL WATER

The room in Dharamkot opened onto the mountain. Trees, silence, birds, a distant monastery bell.

I sat at the window with chai and didn't move for forty minutes. Not because I was tired — because everything was still and I didn't want to break it.

Amazonite for that blue-green calm. Cherry Quartz for the warmth of morning light through the trees. Garden Quartz because when I looked closely at one stone in the market, I saw an entire landscape inside it — mountains, mist, a world within a world — and it reminded me of exactly that window.

Three stones for that morning. For the person who has found their place and simply wants to carry it.
